Hi, I’m Meghan – and I know exactly how you’re feeling.
When my son was diagnosed with ADHD and ODD at age 5, I had answers but no roadmap. Like most parents, I dove into research. With my background in psychology (BS) and information systems (MS), plus experience in systems thinking from Intel Labs and HP Design Studio, I approached this challenge differently than most parents.
My son faced all the real challenges that come with ADHD – executive function struggles, emotional regulation difficulties, and communication barriers. The breakthrough came when we stopped trying to force his brain to work like a neurotypical brain and started building strategies around how it actually functions.
That’s when I created the OWLS framework – an educational profile and toolkit that translates research-backed executive function concepts into practical family strategies.
It worked for us, and it’s now helped dozens of other families move from daily chaos to confident parenting.
